Okay, so we have our daily summer routine down. It goes something like this:
Monday- Ms. Brianne watches the kids and typically attempts to bring them somewhere fun. Lately, however, the kids just want to stay home as Shawn and I run them ragged on the weekends. On Monday nights Shawn brings the kids to the Narragansett Track Club and the kids get to run all sorts of races in a completely organized setting and against kids their own age. The results are even posted on Cool Running! They come home weekly with ribbons and this past Monday they came home with a medal! Tuesday morning all three kids came into our room in their PJ's wearing their medals around their necks with great pride. It was precious!
Tuesday- Ms. Brianne watches the kids again but this time Myles has summer school from 9-11am so a field trip in the morning cannot really happen. Instead, Molly and Hudson have lots of craft time with their babysitter!
Wednesday- Mr. Myles goes off to summer school. Grandma picks him up at 11am and she has been taking all 5 grandkids out to McDonald's for lunch! This is a special treat for them. They then chill at Gram's house all afternoon and just love being next door cozy with their cousins Peyton and Hailey.
Thursday is a Ms. Brianne day and summer school day again. (Only one more week of summer school left.)
Friday is a mostly Mommy day and I love it! Shawn gets three Fridays with the kids this summer and I get the other six. We have had a blast together going to the beach and the local lake.

Shawn's big 10 mile road race is coming up this Friday night. He has some how talked me into walking it as he said we get free beer in the beer tent at the end. I just realized it is not free beer as it cost me $33 to register. This should be interesting to say the least!
Hudson turned 4 yesterday and I can't get over it. Where did the four years go. A post regarding his special day should appear tomorrow.
